Nothing Was Ever the Same: Crisis on Infinite Earths at 30

Hi, all,

Thirty years ago, DC Comics published the first major realignment of its continuity in a twelve-issue maxiseries that has had repercussions to the present day: Crisis on Infinite Earths. Originally designed to celebrate DC's 50th anniversary, Crisis featured virtually every major character then published by DC Comics, and it tied in with most titles of its publishing line as well; nevertheless, Crisis is a benchmark of creators Marv Wolfman and George Pérez's output, and saw them at the height of their powers. While DC Comics has amended much that Crisis on Infinite Earths had in its pages, it remains one of the all-time classic events in comics history. Come celebrate this landmark series with Arisia, and we'll promise not to kill Barry Allen—again.

Thanks,

Danny
