Stretched to the Limits: Plastic Man at 75

Hi, all,

75 years ago, in the pages of Police Comics, Jack Cole created a superhero who has become iconic within the DC Universe: Patrick "Eel" O'Brian, otherwise known as Plastic Man. Originally published by Quality Comics, "Plas" has become the iconic humorous character, and titles featuring Plastic Man have been revived periodically—most notably in recent years by Kyle Baker; Plastic Man was even a core member of Grant Morrison's Justice League. Yet Plastic Man has seen merely mixed success, and Cole himself killed himself under mysterious circumstances only seventeen years after creating Plastic Man. Come explore this icon of the DCU with Arisia, and reminisce about the great escapades of the inimitable Mr. O'Brian.

Thanks,

Danny
