What it Takes to Publish a Game

There are a lot of mysteries about publishing, from IP laws (What's the difference between copyright, patent, and trademark? Aren't they just ways to keep anyone without a lawyer from creating anything?) to how to get funded (Do I just "put it on Kickstarter"?), to how to find the people you need to help you work your idea into something that's engaging to play (I've started a company with my two friends and we're operating as a nonprofit).

It could be that this is three separate panels, of course. I've run each as a panel. But I think that an overview might be helpful.
