Ain't No Such Thing: The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress at 50

Postby millerdan2009 » Sat Feb 07, 2015 11:47 pm

Hi, all,

In 1966, Robert A. Heinlein first published a novel that would eventually be seen as one of his greatest—The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress. Eventually winning the Hugo for Best Novel, The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress popularized Heinlein's political philosophy as well as his belief in polyamory, and included Heinlein's famous aphorism, "There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch". Come discuss this classic novel of science fiction with Arisia as we celebrate its fiftieth anniversary.

Thanks,

Danny
